Hello world!

The first post of many, or simply another futile attempt at making a splash in the Ether? Mmmm, ether … Please don’t flame me for the post title, the site came that way. (I’m out of touch with the interwebs, do people still flame things?)
The long and short of it is this: I’m Seth. My friend Steve offered me an invite and I took it. Now I’m here. I have no illusions about my writing ability (meh) or how interesting my life will be to the casual reader (not very), but I’m going to write an entry a day (it’s the least I can do!) and share with everyone. Maybe it’ll be cathartic, maybe it’ll be a disaster.
What the hell, it’ll be fun. To me. At least for a while.

Does this mean seth.wordpress.com wasn’t available?

Actually, I didn’t check. Doing a search (choose your fav engine) for “traubenberg” yields far fewer results than “seth” …and I gotsta represent my peeps!
For some reason, seth.wordpress.com didn’t seem quite right to me. Maybe I’ll invite my other email address and claim that one, too. (That’s not very nice of me, though.)
